This Is Us Season 2: Who and What You'll Be Seeing More Of

Your weekly cryfest, This Is Us, is also one of the hottest new TV shows. So hot, in fact, that it got renewed for not one but two seasons back in January, a feat basically unheard of in network TV. And the only thing sadder than the plot twists of this show is the fact that we have an entire Summer to wait until it comes back. Lucky for us, we already have a bit of info about what we can expect next Fall, including some exciting quotes from Milo Ventimiglia and NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke from this year's panel at the ATX TV festival.

Several Actors Have Been Promoted to Series Regular

Look forward to more of the cast outside of the family - and the young stars who play the younger versions of the Pearson kids. Alexandra Breckenridge and Jon Huertas will be series regulars in season two, Entertainment Weekly reported in late June. Hopefully we'll find out more about how Miguel and Rebecca got together, while it seems like Sophie and Kevin are destined to get more serious. It was also announced that ,the actors who play the younger Pearsons have been promoted as well, including Hannah Zeile (teenage Kate), Niles Fitch (teenage Randall), Logan Shroyer (teenage Kevin), Mackenzie Hancsicsak (young Kate), Parker Bates (young Kevin), Faithe Herman (Annie Pearson) and Eris Baker (Tess Pearson).

Season 2 Will Be "Bigger" Than Season 1

At this year's This Is Us panel at ATX, Ventimiglia, NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke were asked to share anything from season two. Unsurprisingly, they were tight-lipped, but Salke wanted the audience to know that it would be "bigger than season one" in every way. Ventimiglia built the suspense by saying, "It's f*ckin' exciting. . . . I've been dying to get back to work." They also shared that filming for the second season will start on July 11.

There Are More Family Dynamics to Explore

Like previous beloved family drama before it, Parenthood (which ran for six seasons), there are nearly endless stories you can tell about a family. Obviously we'll see more Pearson family dynamics explored in season two, and star Justin Hartley intimated to us that the show might explore Randall and Rebecca's relationship more in season two. And we'll obviously also see the next stage in Jack and Rebecca's relationship since the finale showed a cataclysmic relationship fight.

The Episode Count

There will be 18 episodes of season two, and the same number for season three. Creator Dan Fogelman said that the seasons will also be split into two arcs before and after the holidays, like season one.

William Will Still Be Part of the Show

In one of the saddest moments of a very sad season, William succumbs to his illness. That would seem like it would close the door on cast member Ron Cephas Jones being on the show anymore, but it didn't. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly right after William's death episode, Jones said that he would be back in season two in some way. He compared his resurfacing to the fact that Jack is dead in present day, but Milo Ventimiglia is a series regular. "I do know that he's going to carry over into season two in some way, just as well as Jack was in all of season one." He added that "there's a chunk of his life that we haven't explored" and that he's "very excited" about all the possibilities.

William's Death Will Inform Randall's Season 2 Storyline

After the episode about William's death aired, creator Fogelman told Entertainment Weekly that Randall's grief will be a big part of the next season. Fogelman said that Randall will ponder "'How do I honor his legacy? What do I do with what just happened in this year I've just spent with this man so that I just don't go back to the same old existence?' And he starts making a bunch of choices and decisions that will affect us going into season 2." By the end of the season, Randall has quit his job and decided he wants to adopt, so perhaps those are the ways he is honoring his biological father's legacy (please, please, please let us see Randall as a stay-at-home dad).

The Top 10 Things For Adults to Do at Disney World

Going to Walt Disney World as an adult without kids can seem daunting. What is there to do besides see Mickey, ride Space Mountain, and eat Mickey-shaped treats all day long? For adults, there's actually quite a bit to do! While some ideas might be a little more creative or be an extra charge, they sure are worth it, especially when you don't have to push a stroller around Magic Kingdom all day.

Related: 36 Disney World Hacks That Will Make Your Trip Even More Magical

1. Take a Guided Tour

Disney has a huge selection of guided tours to fit just about any budget or any interest. Do you have an interest in trains? There's a tour for that at Magic Kingdom. Do you have an interest in gardening? There's a tour for that at Epcot. Do you have an interest in elephants? There's a tour at Animal Kingdom for that, too! All you need to do is find the tour you want to take on Disney's website, sign up, and you're ready to go!

2. Drink Around the World

Drinking around the world has become a bit of a game and a challenge for those adults 21 and over. You're going to need a ticket to get into Epcot, and the goal is to have an adult beverage in each of the countries in World Showcase during the day. This is a great idea if you have a larger group of friends or family going with you. Why? Well, you can share one drink between a few people and hit more countries before you would be over the acceptable limit for a theme park. (Disney security is pretty tight about public intoxication.) Sharing drinks also helps cut costs, because, let's just be honest, alcohol at Disney is expensive.

3. Have a Spa Day

There are two full service spas at Walt Disney World, and both are incredible. One is located at The Grand Floridian and the other is located at Saratoga Springs. While reservations are highly advised, they are not absolutely needed if you don't care what time your appointment will be for.

4. Play Golf

Disney has some of the best golf courses in Florida. There are three 18-hole courses and one nine-hole walking course. The most recent renovations were to the Palm Golf Course, where the course was designed by Arnold Palmer Course Design. Two of the 18-hole courses are right across from the Grand Floridian, and the other goes right through the middle of Saratoga Springs.

5. Monorail Bar Crawl

This is the unofficial bar crawl of the Resort Monorail Loop right around Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom. Like the Drinking Around the World challenge, this is best done in a group setting, because although there won't be nearly as many stops as Epcot, drinking alone is never fun. You can choose any start and stop combination for The Contemporary, The Polynesian, and The Grand Floridian. There are quite a few bars to choose from at each resort, and most of the bars also serve food, so this is a great alternative to having a big dinner or if the weather isn't so good one night of your vacation in Orlando.

6. Hang Out at Disney Springs Late Night Party

Disney Springs, formerly Downtown Disney, has recently gotten a major upgrade to its nighttime entertainment. There are quite a few restaurants with late night menus, and a few restaurants with live entertainment after dark! Morimoto Asia has a fantastic late night menu with a variety of small plates and drinks. If you're looking for entertainment, The Edison is the place to be. There's a live band and all types of adult-only entertainment throughout the night. Do note that the Edison does have a cover charge and dress code on select days after 10 p.m.

7. Enjoy Fine Dining

There are a ton of dining options at Walt Disney World, and you can turn the corner and get a churro or Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich just about anywhere. But there are also quite a few fine dining establishments at Walt Disney World, called signature dining. All of them have a dress code and all of them require a reservation. If you love dining with a view, California Grill at The Contemporary is a great experience with some of the best food at Walt Disney World. If you want something with a little more flair and adventure, Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge is a perfect spot for dinner. If you really want a top-level fine dining experience, Victoria and Albert's at the Grand Floridian is the only AAA Five-Diamond Award recipient in Florida.

8. Hang Out at a Dueling Piano Bar

Yes, Disney has a dueling piano bar, and yes, it's awesome! Located at Disney's Boardwalk, Jellyrolls is a great place to be after dinner or after a fun pool day at your resort. This 21 and over bar is open to guests starting at 7:00 p.m., and the music starts promptly at 8:00 p.m. There is a cover charge, so be prepared for that before you get to Boardwalk. Just like any other dueling piano bar, you'll hear just about anything, and have a good tip ready if you want to hear your song request. All of the musicians that play here are super talented and that alone makes it worth the trip over to the Boardwalk.

9. Book a Fireworks Cruise

If you're looking for something a bit more romantic, you can book a fireworks cruise on a private boat from the Magic Kingdom resorts. You will go out into Seven Seas Lagoon and watch Happily Ever After from a great spot that very few people ever get to experience.

10. Go to the Parks

Lastly, you still should go to the parks. You are at Walt Disney World after all, and what's going to Disney without seeing Cinderella Castle? There's so much to do at each of the four Walt Disney World theme parks that you could never do it all in one trip. Disney's Animal Kingdom is a great place to explore and walk along some back pathways and get away from the crowds, even for just a few minutes.

If you're going to Walt Disney World soon on an adults-only trip, try out some of these tips. You never know what might become your new favorite Disney experience!

Ventimiglia built the suspense by saying, "It's f*ckin' exciting. . . . I've been dying to get back to work."

There Are More Family Dynamics to Explore

Like a previous beloved family drama before it, Parenthood (which ran for six seasons), there are nearly endless stories you can tell about a family.

He compared his resurfacing to the fact that Jack is dead in present day, but Ventimiglia is a series regular.

The Trailers

The first look at season two is obviously heartbreaking, while the first pictures are actually pretty heartwarming.

The Return Date

Season two comes back on Sept. 26.

This Is Us Season 2 Will Be "Bigger" Than Season 1

Your weekly cryfest, This Is Us, is also one of the hottest new TV shows. So hot, in fact, that it got renewed for not one but two seasons back in January, a feat basically unheard of in network TV. And the only thing sadder than the plot twists of this show is the fact that we have an entire Summer to wait until it comes back. Lucky for us, we already have a bit of info about what we can expect next Fall, including some exciting quotes from Milo Ventimiglia and NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke from this year's panel at the ATX TV festival.

The Lost Husband Is a Surprise Hit on Netflix - Does That Mean We're Getting a Sequel?

A few months ago, most of us had never heard of The Lost Husband, and now we're all wondering if there will be a sequel! It's all part of the romantic drama's unexpected arc from tiny unknown title to surprise summer favorite. The circumstances that made the movie a hit, though, might not work for lightning to strike twice.

The movie's success has been, in large part, due to the unique demands of the COVID-19 era, when audiences are looking for two specific things in particular: entertainment they can watch at home, and entertainment that's perhaps a little more comforting than usual. The Lost Husband checks both those boxes. It was first released as a VOD title back in April, at the beginning of major shutdowns, then acquired by Netflix. It started streaming there in August, giving it ideal timing to reach audiences at home. Plus, with its small-town, slightly weepy, cheesy romance, it's the kind of comfort watch that many viewers have been seeking during stressful times.

Star Josh Duhamel, for one, agrees. "This is the perfect time for a movie like this to come out because people are at home watching. You know? These are things that they may really want to dive into," he told Entertainment Tonight. "People are sort of stuck at home right now, so they have to either read or watch something and they're trying to keep themselves occupied, and I think that any sort of entertainment is helpful."

So could there be a sequel? And, more importantly, would it have the same kind of success? Right now, the odds are pretty slim on both counts. The Lost Husband has two major things going against it getting a sequel: it's based on a standalone novel (The Lost Husband by Katherine Center), and it's not a Netflix original - it's a licensed title that the service picked up the streaming rights to. Both things would make creating a sequel a little more complicated, and without the unique circumstances that made the original movie such a hit, it simply might not be worth the risk and the hassle.

6 Reasons a Cruise Ship Is the Best Retirement Option

Next time your parents go on a cruise, don't be surprised if they decide to stay on that ship forever. No longer just a fun vacation idea, cruise ships are increasingly becoming a viable residence option for retirees who prefer adventure at sea over retirement home living. Turns out, it's not always much more costly to live on a cruise ship than it is to stay in an assisted living facility - and you really can't beat the ever-changing views. Of course, there are many things to take into consideration with this idea, but here are a few upsides to cruising through your golden years.

Travel and New Experiences

Obviously, one key reason to spend retirement living full-time on a cruise ship is for the constantly changing scenery and the epic adventures in far-off lands. Traveling during retirement is a common goal, and living on a cruise ship affords retirees virtually endless opportunities for learning new things and having unusual experiences.

Food and Lodging

Say farewell to a big ol' house making constant demands on your time, energy, and wallet. Cruise life includes a private cabin of your own - complete with housekeeping - and an array of dining options. Plus, some cruise lines allow long-term guests to keep personal items and decor in their rooms, so it feels more like home.

Assistance and Amenities

For retirees who need little to no ongoing physical or medical assistance, residing on a cruise ship offers many perks that trump other living arrangements. When she was in her 80s, Bea Muller lived aboard the now-retired Queen Elizabeth 2 and she extolled the many virtues of cruise life: "I've got full-time maid service, great dining rooms, doctors, medical center" - where she volunteered - "a spa, beauty salon, computer center, entertainment, cultural activities and, best of all, dancing and bridge."

New People All the Time

Feelings of isolation and loneliness can find you anywhere, but when you live on a boat teeming with new people, at least there is always the possibility of interesting conversation, friendship, or even a romantic meet-cute. What's more, not everyone on board is of retirement age, meaning you'll experience a rich variety of perspectives from people of different ages and backgrounds.

Financially Sound

Choosing a cruise ship over a retirement home won't necessarily save you money, though according to one 2004 study, living on a cruise ship only cost approximately $2,000 more annually than staying in an assisted living facility. Rising prices over the years, however, have led some people to debunk this theory, indicating that the financial strain of living on a cruise ship is greater than originally believed. Still, the trend towards spending retirement on the sea has clearly opened up a porthole of opportunity for cruise companies to directly target the retirement-age set. See, for example, Cruise Retirement and The World.

Entertainment

Many assisted living facilities and retirement homes have entertainment options for residents, but there probably isn't an improvised murder mystery and a Broadway revue and a magic show and a ballroom dance event all in one week. Bon voyage, indeed.

How to Have a Coach Flying Experience That Isn't Awful

We'd all love all our flights to be at the front of the plane, but for most of us, flying first class is a (very) rare treat. As we walk down the aisle, past the luxury of the front of the cabin and toward the great unknown in the back of the plane, we see the comfort level of our flying experience rapidly decrease. However, while coach seats will never match the first-class experience, there's lots we can do to make flying economy a lot more pleasant.

1. Bring your own entertainment

First class might get the luxury of a killer entertainment system, allowing passengers to Skype and watch Netflix during flights. "Unfortunately, flying coach often doesn't have that same luxury. Travel with your own array of podcasts, films, TV programs, and music," said Tristan Seymour, managing director for Lodging-World.

2. Score an empty middle seat

When selecting your seats, choose an aisle seat for one person and a window seat for the other. This leaves the middle seat vacant. "Meanwhile when solo travelers go to select their seat, they will certainly avoid choosing the middle seat unless it's a very full flight and there aren't any other options," explained John Widmer of Roaming Around the World.

So what happens if it is a full flight and someone does occupy the middle seat? Once you're on the flight, if you don't want to be separated from your travel companion by someone in the middle seat, you can simply offer the middle seat occupant your window or aisle seat. No one in the middle seat will ever refuse that. "But typically that middle seat will remain unoccupied. And as airlines continue to shrink legroom in coach, having an unoccupied middle seat to be able to stretch out can be a great little benefit!" said Widmer.

3. Keep the noise out

"For overnight flights, what travelers often complain about is the cabin noise. Use earplugs first, then place a pair of noise-canceling headphones on after. The extra coverage over your ears will help block out plane engine noise and your talkative neighbor," said Stefanie Michaels of AdventureGirl.com.

Noise-canceling headphone good bets are AKG N60 NC Wireless, which have an ultracompact folding feature, or JBL Everest Elite 750 NC, an around-ear wireless headphone that is outfitted with the latest Adaptive Noise-Cancelling (ANC) technology, which will totally come in handy to drown out sounds from airplane takeoffs and screaming toddlers.

4. Bring your own pillow and blanket

First-class fliers get the big seats, and that's not the same for coach. "If you're going to be on flight for a couple of hours, the last thing you need is to be cramped and uncomfortable. Invest in a soft, breathable blanket and pillow for long-haul flights," said Seymour. A flexible travel pillow, such as this Evolution Cool from Cabeau, can go a long way toward getting some sleep on that long-haul flight.

5. Bring your own snacks

While first class is enjoying the fine stuff, coach is stuck with the basic flight food. "Treat your taste buds to some fine dining by bringing your own snacks," said Seymour. Try to stay away from anything especially pungent or aromatic out of consideration for your fellow passengers.

6. Plan for discomfort

Flying coach is like riding the bus in the sky. It's cheap, but it sure isn't fancy. "For flights longer than a couple hours, you'll want to be ready for discomfort. You'll have no room, limited ability to recline, and all the random sights and smells that come with budget travel. Wear loose-fitting clothing, bring extra entertainment, and bring physical items to keep you comfy (extra sweater, neck pillow)," said Christopher K. Oldfield, budget travel blogger from Lessons Learned Abroad and the community manager at Nomadic Matt. Earplugs and an eye mask are worth bringing, too. Leave the knee-high boots in your checked luggage and wear easy-to-slip-off breathable shoes, such as these by OluKai, a Hawaiian-inspired footwear brand, which has a drop-in heel for shoe and slide versatility. This detail allows your feet to breathe here and there thought the flight. Don't be shy about going a step further and stashing your favorite slippers in your bag, either. After all, why should you feel constricted in a pair of uncomfortable or claustrophobic shoes when you're confined enough in coach?

7. Charge your devices before you fly

Many airlines will include outlets, but this isn't always the case. "Do yourself a favor and save that battery life for when you need it! If necessary, arrive early at the airport so you can hunt down the best places to charge your devices," said Oldfield. While you are at it, bring an extra battery, like this 10,000 mAh Pocket Power by Belkin. That way you won't end up landing with a depleted iPhone battery just when you need to request that Uber pickup.

8. Lower your expectations

Take a minute to acknowledge the fact that you are about to be crammed in a rocket tube with hundreds of other strangers for a few hours. "This is not meant to be a luxury experience, so stop expecting it to be awesome. As best, it will be adequate, so keep your expectations measured. This is the most important thing you can do to have a better flying experience in coach!" said Oldfield.

The YouTube Stars Your Kids Love Decoded

Our friends at Common Sense Media are breaking down the most popular YouTube stars among kiddos so parents can get in on the fun.

For some kids, it's not enough to watch YouTube videos. Some kids want to make them, too. And a growing number of under-20 YouTubers are doing just that - and earning good money. Whether they play Minecraft, review toys, make music videos, or just rant, they're attracting other kids in droves. (Check out "A Parent's Ultimate Guide to YouTube" for tips on managing your kid's YouTube time.) With millions of viewers, young vloggers are regularly among YouTube's top 50 most-subscribed-to and most viewed, becoming nearly as influential and vital to kids as TV.

Like all things on YouTube, kid vloggers come in all varieties. Some, such as tween gamer LTCorbis, are completely independent, self-funded, and self-motivated. And not necessarily age-appropriate. Some, such as the 7-year-old star of Ryan ToysReview, are directed by their parents. Some are part of larger content-creation groups, such as the Fine Brothers Entertainment channels Kids React and Teens React. Most YouTube kids also are multiplatform, cultivating audiences on Instagram, Musical.ly, Snapchat, and Twitter, and even writing books.

It's natural for kids to be attracted to watching other kids. But be aware that many YouTube videos - even ones hosted by kids - may contain mature content. And while plenty of kid YouTubers are safe bets, there are some pros and cons about the entire enterprise.

On the Up Side:

  • Videos tend to be relatively brief, bite-size chunks of news and entertainment (ideal for kid attention spans and schedules).
  • The hosts are interested in the same subjects your kids are, and they look and talk like them, which gives your kids a sense of connection.
  • When kids choose their own entertainment, they often don't spend time on stuff they don't like. They tune into specific vloggers who deliver incredibly relevant information that's tailor-made to their interests.
  • The fact that these kids are earning thousands (and even millions!) can make vlogging look like an attractive undertaking to fans (i.e., your kids). It also can be a creative and educational hobby, but there are some risks. If your kid wants to try it, get tips on doing it safely.

On the Down Side:

  • Language and content can be an issue, especially with gamers and any tween and teen vloggers.
  • Your kid will be seeing a lot of advertising. Ads are how YouTube and its users make money, and the ads are not all age appropriate.
  • Many YouTubers, especially toy reviewers, get stuff for free in exchange for coverage on their channels. They may or may not disclose that fact. But your kids may not understand that sometimes what they're watching is essentially advertising.
  • According to YouTube's terms of service, users must be at least 13 to run a channel. The fact that there are so many kid bloggers makes it seem like younger kids are permitted. Kid bloggers usually state that their parents actually own the channel, but this fact could be lost on your kids.

Here are some of the most highly subscribed kids on YouTube. Check our guidance on which ages they're best suited for:

Whoa - This Awful Black Mirror Character Has a VERY Disturbing Connection to Season 1

The following contains spoilers for seasons one and four of Black Mirror.

It's hard not to finish the "Crocodile" episode of Black Mirror's fourth season without a bad taste in your mouth. The focal character, Mia (Andrea Riseborough), gradually transforms from something of a sympathetic character to a despicable monster, murdering several people and a baby to preserve her own lifestyle. And while you might have a distaste for Mia after seeing her personal plight this season, you'll be even more disturbed after reading a fan theory that connects her to one of the saddest episodes from way back in season one.

Redditor vegancake purports that Mia may actually be responsible for the f*cked-up world where "15 Million Merits" characters Bingham (Daniel Kaluuya) and Abi (Jessica Brown Findlay) live.

Could Mia's sustainable community design actually be the bike-fueled, "merit"-based society where Bing and Abi fall victim to the twisted entertainment appetites of their peers?

If you can recall details from before Mia turns into a stone-cold serial killer, she is an accomplished architect who is tapped to speak about her innovative community housing design at a major industry conference. Her roots as an architect certainly explain the stunning family home that we see intermittently throughout the episode, but doesn't the style of her living space feel . . . familiar?

Considering this, vegancake's theory wonders: could Mia's sustainable community design actually be the bike-fueled, "merit"-based society where Bing and Abi fall victim to the twisted entertainment appetites of their peers? Here's a portion of the Redditor's full idea:

"OK, so lots of details in Crocodile (the song being a current hit, WraithBabes, mention of the host of the talent show) definitely make it seem like right now, at this very moment, while Mia is in her mansion with the huge windows, other people are cycling in a Fifteen Million Merits windowless home. Meanwhile, Mia is getting paid to talk about the architecture she innovated for affordable housing that is also 'community.' So, anyone else think this is suggesting Mia designed the Fifteen Million Merits model of 'community'?
. . . I feel like Mia probably wasn't born a psychopath, but rather the constant secret of the bike/car accident has made her this way. The bike-centric 15MM (if she created it) could be this traumatic secret seeping out."

The Reddit theorist focuses specifically on the fact that Mia's first crime, covering up the fatal hit and run of a bicyclist, might have inspired her to make bikes the crux of the sustainable community development she designs. Plus, WraithBabes (the porn series Mia plays in the background while disposing of her ex's body) is also one of the top forms of entertainment in Bing and Abi's community.

Other fans of the show also caught connections between "Crocodile" and "15 Million Merits." For example, the color scheme and architectural details:

Another fan recalled that Mia's nosy hotel clerk mentions "Hot Shot," the American Idol-style show featured in "15 Million Merits":

Furthermore, keen-eared viewers noticed that the Irma Thomas song "Anyone Who Knows What Love Is (Will Understand)" - which makes an appearance once per Black Mirror season - is a key focus in both "15 Million Merits" and "Crocodile." Specifically, it's the song Abi sings for her failed reality show audition, and it's also what plays in the background when a self-driving pizza truck strikes a pedestrian outside Mia's hotel room:

With popular songs, reality shows, and even pornography taking place in both worlds, it begs the question: are they happening at the same time, and are they intertwined? It certainly seems possible. So, do you think that this theory is accurate? Show creator Charlie Booker has confirmed that the Black Mirror universe is connected, so we're inclined to believe that these similarities are no coincidence!

Blackpink's Origin Story Started Long Before the Group's Public Debut in 2016

It's hard to believe that the K-pop girl group Blackpink has only been around for a few years, but Blackpink actually started much earlier than its public debut. Netflix's new documentary Blackpink: Light Up the Sky follows the mega-popular group from the earliest beginnings up to their superstardom, revealing how the band came to be and how long it took for them to come together.

Blackpink's story started back in 2010, when the individual members of the group auditioned for YG Entertainment, according to a 2019 Billboard profile. YG is a major firm in the K-pop industry, which recruits young musicians to become "trainees" in a highly structured system that eventually turns them into "idols," or highly produced pop stars with a particular image curated by the entertainment company. The members of Blackpink all auditioned individually and eventually made it through several rounds to join YG.

Their next step was going through a rigorous academy, which involved intense schedules and daily training in music, dance, and more, in order to determine which trainees would be selected to become full-fledged music acts as organized by the company. They all trained for several years between their initial recruitment and Blackpink's eventual debut in 2016. It was during this phase of isolated, intense training that the four future bandmates met and bonded. "Jennie would speak English to me, and Jisoo helped me out with my Korean," Lisa, who is from Thailand, told Billboard, while Rosé recalled a late-night jam session where "we just clicked."

It wasn't until 2016, after years of rumors, that YG finally announced the formation of Blackpink and began revealing its members to the public. On June 29 of that year, Korean entertainment websites such as Naver formally broke the news that Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa would be the complete band, while also officially debuting the "Blackpink" name. Only a few months later, their first single album, Square One, was released with the songs "Whistle" and "Boombayah." Since then, their careers have taken off massively, becoming an international hit and one of the most popular music acts in the world. It's no wonder, then, that Netflix chose them as the subject of their first K-pop program.

You can find out more about the personal stories behind each of the four women's journeys in Blackpink: Light Up the Sky, now streaming on Netflix!
